"Who Is Carol Holiday?" can be downloaded in PDF format at this link. It is 35 pages (2.3mb)

This is a standalone essay I've decided to publish here since it's convenient. Reading the original "Life Advice" is not required, but they share similar thought processes.

For the longest time, I have been perplexed by the speculation around Carol Holiday. To be more specific, I'm confused that there's so little. Most have written her off under the pretense of "we know next to nothing about her" (hasn't stopped us with other characters!). Unless you think she's the Knight, in which case I disagree with you on the principle of having played the game.

Similarly, while people have poked and prodded at themes of identity and class in DELTARUNE, readings built around a feminist lens are scarce and usually very difficult to find; probably because, as alluded to above, people don't really talk about this stuff too loudly. I was (and still am) worried about what my general lack of rhetorical experience would misrepresent such a rich topic, until I realized my desire to pick Carol apart outweighed the minimal risk factor involved.

It's quite last-minute given the timing, but I hope you enjoy!
